The Ferry to Tenerife

Trip to Tenerife

As an optional extra, many people choose to spend one of their riding days having a remarkable day trip over to Tenerife. It is a long day 07.00 – 20.00, but well worth the visit and additional cost. Travelling with Fred Olsen from Agaete we sail to Tenerife, ride south, then up over Mount Teide, Spain’s highest point at 3718 metres, with breathtaking views.

Later in the afternoon we travel north east through green lush countryside of the Anaga Mountains, before heading back to the ferry terminal for our catamaran home.

Each day you will begin and end your tour at our unit, having the rest of the evening to explore the local town and its typical Canarian restaurants and friendly bars. If you are looking for more exciting entertainment Vecindario is not too far from the tourist resorts of Playa del Inglés or Maspalomas.
