One-day Tours of Gran Canaria

For those riders already here on holiday who fancy a few days away from the pool, we have a number of ride outs ideal for day long excursions.

One Day of True Biking Heaven

From September through to April we offer days rides. A typical day ride involves arriving at our base in Vecindario and enjoying a holiday excursion you will never forget. Once kitted out we take you on one of our superb routes either through the centre of the Island riding through spectacular scenery and smooth tarmaced roads with endless bends, curves and hairpins or to the north of the island to experience a wonderful and amazing ride through our Green Route. We have 6 different routes so it will be an element of surprise for you.

You will have excellent value for money as you will be riding all day. Our tours begin at 9.00 and end around 17.00, route and traffic dependent of course. With coffee, lunch and photo stops you will be able to savour the views as well as the Canarian hospitality, but first and foremost you will be riding.

A rental car would be a great way to get to us, but if this isn't possible, there are some great transport links from the north and south of the Island. Very occassionally we 'may' be able to help with transport, on the odd day. but this also may mean having to wait at the end of the day until a member of staff is free to return you back to you hotel.

Please note - we tour in Slovenia in the summer months so we can only offer day rides September through to April.

The roads here in Gran Canaria are challenging, demanding and technical. This motorcycle tour is not for the faint hearted, novice, nervous or infrequent rider.

With the thousands of hairpins, twisties and mountain climbs, this makes Canary Motorcycle Tours an excellent riding destination, which is extremely popular for winter riding too, so don't be disappointed - book early.

Our Motorcycles

We have the following motorcycles for our tours:

We use these bikes because they are light and agile for the bends, twisties and hairpins, yet powerful enough for the numerous mountain climbs.

While you can state a preference for your choice of motorcycle, we will try to accommodate you, however, we tend to allocate bikes on arrival depending on a person height and whether they have a pillion passenger. You must be prepared to ride any of these bikes when booking.

All our bikes have:

  • Top box, frunk and/or tank bags.
  • Current ITV (MOT).
  • Insurance and tax.

These bikes are perfect for the job here and are maintained to a very high standard.

Tour Requirements

Please remember to bring:

  • driving license.
  • holiday insurance that covers you to ride over a 125cc - we insure the bike not the rider.
  • sturdy footwear (preferably motorcycle boots).
  • suitable riding trousers.

We provide the motorcycle, motorcycle insurance, fuel, helmet, jacket, gloves, and our greatest assets - Martin and Jose our guides.

Important Information

These rides are challenging and not for the novice rider. We insure the motorcycle not the rider so please ensure you have adequate holiday insurance that covers you to ride a motorcycle over a 125cc. This is essential not desirable. No insurance - no riding.
