Summer in Slovenia - What We Offer

Started in 2020 with Canary Motorcycle Tours

"something for the summer" - week long tours and super value holiday in Slovenia.

We have devised lots of fabulous routes for your week-long tour. Based at a local and traditional Slovenian Guesthouse, with bed, breakfast and home cooked evening meal included. This is a super and affordable package including a bike, fuel, and insurance plus Martin, your guide, showing you awesome routes while riding some of the undiscovered and untouched parts of Slovenia, its towns, villages, countryside and coast - a bit of everything.

Riding for 6 full days, you will cover many areas of this beautiful country and even manage to cross several borders. We have incorporated a ride on the famous Adriatic Coast Road with an overnight stay in Croatia. When riding in the stunning Julian Mountains in north west Slovenia, we have another overnight stay on the border with Austria so we can pop into Italy and Austria too.

Guesthouse Tenis Pohle is an established, authentic, family run guesthouse with extensive, manicured gardens, 2 tennis courts, substantial outside seating area and large plunge pool, where you can relax in peace after a long days riding. The guesthouse is situated in a small village called Brestanica in the south east of Slovenia. They have a popular local bar serving traditional beer plus an extensive range of wines and spirits. Here, you can enjoy socialising with other guests and locals alike.

The rooms are bright, clean and welcoming with free wifi and a balcony with beautiful, tranquil views of the local church, tennis courts, plunge pool and gardens. All rooms have private bathrooms, and flat-screen TV. Breakfast and evening meals are home cooked by the owner and qualified chef, Mojmir.

Why Slovenia?

Slovenia lies in the heart of Europe where the Alps and Mediterranean meet. To the north is Austria, to the east Hungary, to the south Croatia and to the west Italy. Two million people live in Slovenia on just over 20,000 square kilometres. With 4 types of fabulous landscapes – alpine, sub- Mediterranean, Dinaric and Pannonian, Slovenia is a perfect summer biking destination.

We offer tours from Mid May to Mid Sept, just arrive and ride. Our tours are ideal for those riders who want to tour in Europe but can’t find the 2 or 3 weeks they need. Fly out, ride for 3 days, have a rest day to do your own thing, ride 2 more full days and fly home – perfect.

Want to bring your own bike – no problem, we have devised a package for you too with accommodation and guided tour. If you don’t want to ride solo, come ride with us.
